  • Losing Coach P is a major disappoinment, BUT THIS IS NOT THE END OF HERD FOOTBALL.  To say that all we will have is memories of the glory days is ridiculous.  I guess a lot of people are forgetting about the outstanding athletes we already have on the field coupled with what many call the best recruiting class in Herd history.

Things may not have shaken down the way most would have liked, but the Herd will rebound just like we always do.  I'm sure when the plane crashed everyone said, this is the end of the Herd.  Was it?

Spring practice starts tomorrow.  We need to support whoever is chosen to lead our team FULLY.  The players and coaching staff will sense how the faithful react, which will in turn affect how all perform.  Before jumping ship like many have suggested, let's give this a little time to settle down and see how things play out.

Even if the Herd would decline, I WILL REMAIN A HERD FAN.

  • YES I WILL STILL BE A HERD FAN.

    BUT.....................
If the University is taking a different approach in handling football/sports then this is the end as we know it.

A different kind of program or programs from here on out.

No more new money and taking back old money changes things quickly.
    IT'S TAILGATING SEASON!

  • I don't think many posters feel the sky is falling because Pruett left.  We all knew he was leaving soon.  It was HOW and WHY he left that has many of us up in arms.
