  • apparently is going on at quite a few CUSA schools this fall.  There are games involving several CUSA schools, including the like of South Carolina and Kentucky in soccer, going on this fall.  I was on the CUSA web site and they have a calendar of events showing games of CUSA teams in several sports this fall running well up into November.  There is both men's and women's soccer as well as volleyball competition occurring, in addition to football.

My question is:  did CUSA come out with ANY policy regarding fall competition in Olympic sports?  Or did they just leave the decision up to individual schools?  Curious as to why the HERD's soccer teams are not playing, especially after the ultra successful campaign the men had last season.  Same with the Herd volleyball squad.  Don't recall reading anything about the League deferring play in said sports until the Spring of 2021.  I note that this competition going on this fall includes games, matches, not just with OOC teams, but in conference competition as well.  Did the League just say to all schools:  Play if you wish and think it is safe, but we will not have any conference championships in these fall Olympic sports?

Feel free to clarify and explain if anyone can!  Thanks in advance!!

Honestly I seem to recall that some of those sports are being deferred until spring
