Since Pruett resigned/retired, somebody do a check on how many articles have been done on Kueck.

I tell you all, I have read so much about Kueck that I feel like I live with him.
The media is laying it on us thick.

I agree DJ. Hanshew, IMO, has stayed out of the Kueck Camp and remained balanced. However, the Kueck spin has been a constant frpm the day BP retired. Again, what is wrong with hiring the best candidate?

MU's reputation and compensation package would/is attracting top notch candidates. PULEEEEEZE Ferrell, Marcum, etc.,  pick the best coach for the job and stay out of the "good 'ol boy" business as Landon, Smock, and Salvatore would have you do.

My biggest beef with the Charleston newspapers is, besides being Influenced my mercenery motives they can't just do a straight up piece on Marshall University, and begin the article with MU's name. This is something I have been watching for the past 10 years, and if you are not a sports fan, and more especially a MU fan, the article may never be noticed by the masses. If it is a WVU article it will begin, WVU, or The Mountaineers etc.. If it is a MU article its look something like this; It was a cold afternoon, and the Flashes of Kent State University gave Marshall, or the Herd all they could handle while holding them to a season low 400 yards total offense. Coach Pruett said, he just didn't have any idea why the teams performance was lacking. Meanwhile, WVU, evidently looking ahead to next weeks game, nails the door shut on Temple saturday. Coach R, realising the team just couldn't concentrate, today relied on the legs and the arm, of Rasheed Marshall to lead the team to their 43rd consecutive victory over their arch rival Temple. The 73 points scored by the Mountaineers neared  the all time Mountaineer field record of blah, blah, blah.........

The reason for this is because Pruett has endorsed him. Preutt retired at the wrong time ppl and if Marcum names Kueck coach this is a Pruett hire and the success or ulimate failure of his tenure lies at the feet of Pruett and no one else.

HZ, Pruett's recomendation is a matter of profession courtesy. It the AD follows up on this recomendation as far as I am concrened, it means the administration was too lazy to do a top not search, or Pruett is going to be the next AD.
