Why go for it??

    • 6+ mins to go to half.  Just lost our starting QB.  D has been stout.  Why go for it on 4th and 1 instead of trying to pin them deep, give the Offense a chance to get their head around Zban being in, and the let D do what they've been doing??

    Downright bone-headed decision in my opinion.  Gave them 3 points, coulda been 7.

    • Believe Huff and staff are starting to panic. 

    Also, I question why with a 14 point lead and with receiving the ball on our 11 yard line after a punt we, the O coordinator, decides to THROW on three straight plays (all incompletions)?  Just didn't need to hurry up and throw every down, IMO.  Rune the ball more, eat some clock, give the D some rest, etc..

    • Didn't mind going for it on 4th down. Zban made a bonehead play by keeping the ball instead of giving it to Ali.

    • I don't mind going for it on 4th and 1 in that situation given the QB change situation...

    I assume it was a called option, but why it's not definitely in the hands of Ali at that point is the questionable part...

    I wouldn't have even mentioned Doc, had you not been enjoying a Marshall loss and hoping coach Huff loses! I cheered for Doc and never wanted him to lose here, when it didn't work out it was time for a change.  That's a big difference between me and you..

    • My guess is that they knew further points would be hard to come by and that they would be needing all they could get if they wanted to somehow win the game, even though the scoreboard did not reflect it yet.

    I have followed MU football longer  than I care to admit and I will say that equaled the worst decision I have ever witnessed.

    We did Qb sneak under centers at Navy and it worked.  Not sure why never done again.  Makes 0 sense

    Or something under center.  Not sure why nfl qbs always sneak but colleges don?t.  0 sense
