Topic: Herd vs Irish

Exciting day taking on top ten Irish.  Guessing the game plan will be a lot of short routes and wide receiver screens to try and keep Irish dline out of backfield.  On D, We?ll probably be looking to keep ground game in check but it will expose us a bit if we start cheating safeties for run assignments. 

Looking forward to see how our boys in the trenches fare against this team.  If we hold up pretty well against them it would be a good sign for rest of season.

The biggest wins are the ones in which your own fanbase expects the least.  The thing I would worry about most if I were a ND fan is the teams general psyche. All of the pressure is on them.  Hopefully we don't turn the ball over and are fundamentally sound across the board.  If we do that, there is always that small chance.

Seems like the Irish use MAC officials for a good bit of their games?.  We?ve had some interesting experiences with their crews over the years.

Hope we win toss and defer?. Prefer D on field first in big road games.
