May have had something to do with keeping folks off Hal Greer during construction.
I know they were planning to route I64 east to 29th street and I64 west to West 17th street.

The Huntington Police Department is working with various agencies to ensure fans can arrive at and depart from Joan C. Edwards Stadium safely and efficiently this Saturday, Sept. 2, for the Marshall Thundering Herd?s season-opening football game.
All fans driving to the game are advised to avoid Hal Greer Boulevard due to construction. Fans driving to the game from Interstate 64 should use the 17th Street West or 29th Street exits.
After the game, officers will detour traffic onto U.S. 60 at two key intersections. At Hal Greer Boulevard and 3rd Avenue, all traffic will be directed to continue westbound on 3rd Avenue/U.S. 60 West to access I-64 at the17th Street West interchange. At 20th Street and 5th Avenue, all traffic will be directed to continue eastbound on 5th Avenue/U.S. 60 East to access I-64 at the 29th Street interchange.

Ok great why? Doesn?t make anything safer. In fact if people go up over the hill and down Washington they will spill out on Hal Greer.
We just made a left went around to fire station n went home
Just trying to figure out how it makes think safer by making people turn as opposed to going straight
Either thank god no bouncy house

  • Stranger yet, Veterans Memorial Blvd was shut down at 3rd street west. I usually just shoot all the way down that way. No stop signs or red lights.

  • Sodexo workers behind counter in Big Green room
Might be the worst I have ever witnessed
    What a joke
It deters people from even going in there to get a drink

I went in early, ended up leaving without a beer because line too slow.  It was not a long line.  5 deep or so and no one in a hurry.  finally got one beer on a return trip and never went back in. pathetic.  can't imagine what it would be like with a great crowd.  they screwed up the soccer lines as well Friday night.

  • For the Sodexo employees, those who have connections should bring the issue up with the Athletic Department.  The volunteers in their organization's servicing are a different issue.  They work hard, but are volunteers...

The soccer lines were ridiculous. They were over 20 minutes long in the first half. They left a lot of money on the table because of it.
