Topic: Is LB Carlos Morgan coming back??

The last time that I talked to Carlos was during the season...At the time his grades were all in order and everything was going well...Unless something has changed since the end of the season Carlos will be back on the field next season.

I've been wondering that also.  Academic casualties Terick Thomas and Nate Howard stayed as part of the team and practiced during the season.  Morgan and Nick Kelly did not.

I wondered if Morgan is coming back, will he be in spring practice or will rejoin the team in the fall.

LB's for the spring....Couch, Newsome, Thornton, Noel, Wilks, Kitchens, Hoskins, McNeely, Lee (walk-on), K. Walker (walk-on), Gum (walk-on) and maybe Will Albin and/or Matt Morris and/or Tank Tunstalle (rumored position switches).  Morgan has more game experience at LB than any of those except Couch & Thornton & maybe Newsome.

Latest word is Morgan will definitely be back for the spring - and the fall if he remains eligible.  That's true with anyone, but I added that since he's been ineligible for fall 04 and was a NQ at the start of his career.

My opinion, if tank moves to the linebacker position, it is his.  His speed, talent, and size is perfect for the position.  It is his only shot of earning a starting spot, and a payday for football in the future.
