  • Just going to link the SBC thread.  We have one preseason 1st team O and one D player.  I guess with all the new names there isn't much for them to go on, yet.

  • With all the ins and outs from the portal during the off season (with unlimited transfer) and having 85 players to account for , it is hard to keep up with who exactly is on the team going into this season.

  • Wow.  148 players were chosen across 4 teams.  Of those only 7 were chosen from Marshall: 1 Safety, 2 Defensive Linemen, 1 Cornerback, 1 Offensive Lineman, 1 Wide Receiver, and 1 Tight End.  148 players chosen across 14 teams, that's 10.57 per team.  Marshall didn't even hit the average per team.

Althon certainly isn't showing much respect for Huff's recruiting or the Marshall players.  Not that Althon matters, but if the lack of respect to that degree from a national publication doesn't motivate some Marshall players to step up then nothing will.

  • I doubt they even know who is on the team now.

  • We will see what kind of coaching staff we have at Marshall. Many key losses and a ton of new faces. I'm willing to give them this season to see what they can accomplish. Time for a change? Time will tell.

Heck, it'd be a minor miracle if Huff and his staff knows who's on the team in the present environment.
